(FixThisNation.com) – Nikki Haley, GOP presidential candidate, during the Trump administration, warned that there was a possibility of a world war breaking out if Ukraine lost the war with Moscow or surrendered. Haley proceeded to push for the U.S. and its allies to continue supplying weapons and equipment to the nation in support of “freedom.”
As she told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday in a Republican town hall in Des Moines this situation extends beyond Ukraine and it is a war about freedom that we cannot afford to lose. She proceeded to explain that the war for Ukraine was a war for everyone.
Haley pointed out that “tyrants” always say what they are going to do before doing it. China had stated before that they would take Hong Kong, and they have, Russia stated that they would invade Ukraine and they did, and China is now saying that Taiwan would be next, so “we better believe them.” Russia has also stated that after Ukraine it would be Poland and the Baltics so what could end up occurring is a world war, and all the action they are taking right now is about stopping war.
She proceeded to argue that the only way for this war to end is for Russia to pull out of Ukraine and that Ukraine pulling out is not an option as it would result in a world war.
Haley is not the only 2024 Republican primary candidate to have addressed the war in Ukraine. Frontrunner former President Donald Trump has alleged that he would stop the war in 24 hours if he was elected.
