(FixThisNation.com) – The Biden campaign is increasing its attack against former President Donald Trump as the possibility of the 2024 presidential race ending up being a rematch between the two has increased.
This past week Biden’s campaign has been unloading on Trump and has put out daily memos in which they argue that should Trump win a second term in office it would have dire effects on immigration, abortion rights, and the economy. Biden aides have also pointed out that Trump had recently likened his political oppositions to “vermin”, a comment for which he has received heavy backlash.
The recent attacks have come after a number of recently released polls have found that Trump is ahead of Biden in many of the races in key battleground states, as well as in some national-level polls.
During an MSNBC “Morning Joe” appearance former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), claimed that the Biden campaign team needed to focus more on the “binary choice” of how dangerous it would be for the country and its democracy if Trump was elected. He added that they needed to promote the idea of voting for someone who had “strong” people running the government.
In the last week, the Biden team has started to launch a number of attacks against Trump while also releasing a series of memos called “Trump’s America in 2025.” The memos are looking to showcase the importance of the upcoming election.
In one of the releases, it is pointed out that Trump would pass a national abortion ban if given a second term in office.
