(FixThisNation.com) – Democrats recently revealed to NBC News that they were starting to distance themselves from the term “Bidenomics.”

The Biden administration has been using the term “Bidenomics” to refer to all of the President’s economic policies. However, there are some Democrats who have argued that the branding could actually be more damaging than beneficial.

One Democratic strategist told NBC that the person who had come up with the slogan needed to be fired and that it was most likely the “worst messaging” imagined.

Two other sources that are familiar with discussions in the White House stated that originally President Biden had been reluctant to use the term and had worried that the promotion of a growing economy in this way might end up backfiring.

Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., also stated that he was not a fan of the term. He added that the people that Biden was standing for were not those who were focused on economics, but instead, they were focused on daily issues, educating children, keeping their families fed and further developing their communities. However the term “Bidenomics” did not sound like any of that.

Engagious focus group NBC stated that swing voters viewed Bidenomics as a “jumbled mess” that they found to be very “hard to explain.”

Democratic pollster Celinda Lake similarly said that originally she might have believed it had not been used enough but now that they have done all that it was clear that the message was not going through.
