( – The group Democratic Socialists of America has announced that they will hold a pro-‘Palestine’ rally on Sunday only days after the terrorist assaults coordinated by Hamas against Israel. The attacks resulted in 1,200 Israelis losing their lives.

The demonstration is scheduled for 1 p.m. close to Broadway and 42 Street in New York City’s Times Square.

The New York City chapter of the group announced the rally through an X post, in which they stated that in solidarity with the people of Palestine who have been under an “occupation and apartheid,” they would arrange the rally. In the series of posts, they added that Israel was responsible for the violence, arguing that the Israeli apartheid which received millions in funding from the United States has caused the violence.

There are six House lawmakers who belong to the DSA organization. Those are Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., Cori Bush, D-Mo., and Greg Casar, D-Texas.

Many of the Democratic lawmakers who are involved in the DSA are also Squad members, which has resulted in the Squad being connected to antisemitism. Ocasio-Cortez in particular has often slammed Israel and has even referred to the “occupation of Palestine.” In 2018 when Hamas, a terrorist organization, had held riots in the Gaza border, Ocasio-Cortez had accused Israel of a “massacre.”

Omar in 2019 also made some infamous tweets about Israel having hypnotized the rest of the world. She also was the sponsor of a House resolution which equated boycotting Israel and boycotting the Nazis.
