(FixThisNation.com) – Ex-CIA spy and former Republican congressman Will Hurd is going to be heading to the country’s northern border on Tuesday according to a Fox News report.
During his Fox Digital interview ahead of his Tuesday border tour, Hurd, who had once represented a congressional district in Texas, attacked both President Biden and Former President Donald Trump. In his statement, he argued that Biden was “the worst border security” U.S. president ever, and claimed that it was shocking that his administration was refusing to refer to the current crisis as a crisis. He also alleged that Biden’s immigration policies have encouraged illegal immigrants to try and enter the country, which is why everyone is looking to enter the U.S. as an asylum seeker.
Hurd, who is a vocal critic of Trump, the front-runner in the GOP primary presidential race, also argued that he was the first President to start treating everyone as an asylum seeker and that President Biden was simply following in those footsteps.
Hurd, who is a candidate in the GOP presidential race, argued that this is something that he would stop on the first day. He also promised that if he wins the White House he will start the construction of the border wall again, which was blocked by Biden. As he noted there were certain areas along the border where it made sense for them to have a physical barrier. He also pushed that technology needed to be deployed along the border to help handle this situation.
