(FixThisNation.com) – On Saturday, former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi stated that the domestic threats in the country are now similar to the international terrorist threats it has faced. As he said, many Trump supporters appear to be willing to die for their cause.
Former President Donald Trump has faced a lot of criticism in recent months after he issued threats against those who have brought forward the three criminal indictments against him. Across all the cases, Trump is facing 78 felony charges and has pleaded not guilty to all of them. He has also repeatedly claimed that the investigations and indictments against him are politically motivated, while also arguing that they are an attempt by his political opponents to interfere with the 2024 presidential elections.
Trump was first indicted for falsifying business documents in New York in connection to a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election. He has also been federally indicted twice with one case relating to his alleged mishandling of classified documents, while the second one being focused on overturning the 2020 presidential election results.
Acting New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan who is overseeing the hush money case has warned Trump against making any remarks that could potentially lead to violence or civil unrest, or that could end up harming any of the individuals in this case. Hours after this warning, Trump had told his supporters that the case in New York was overseen by a “Trump-hating judge” who had a wife and daughter who also hated him. He also pointed out his daughter worked for the Biden-Harris presidential campaign.
