(FixThisNation.com) – Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Trump aide alleged in her new book that Rudy Giuliani had groped her on Jan. 6, 2021, while backstage at former President Donald Trump’s rally. The incident described in her book took place only hours before Trump supporters marched on the Capitol.
The Guardian reviewed an excerpt of the book in which Hutchinson claimed that Giuliana had trailed up her thigh, under her blazer and skirt. She added that John Eastman was also in the room and when she looked at him he gave her a “leering grin.” Filled with rage she ended up leaving the tent and heading towards Mark Meadows, who was the then-Chief of Staff, and her boss.
The book “Enough” details many of Hutchinson’s experiences during her time as a White House aide as well as her decision to be one of the key witnesses in the House hearings on the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack.
Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s spokesman claimed that the allegations were “a disgusting lie” and added that Hutchinson was only coming forward with these allegations two and a half years later as part of her book marketing. He proceeded to praise Giuliani for his accomplishments in public service which include bringing the Mafia down and cleaning New York City during his time as mayor.
In recent months Giuliani has faced a number of legal problems including a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit that was filed by one of his former employees in May. According to the lawsuit Giuliani had abused his power, and sexually harassed and assaulted the employee.
