(FixThisNation.com) – Republican donors and strategists argued on Sunday that they were not concerned over Vice President Kamala Harris being the new Democratic nominee, despite the fact that they had believed that the odds of defeating President Joe Biden were at an all-time high.

For weeks, the Republicans have been salivating over the possibility that Biden is going to result in other Democrats being dragged down in their own races. However, a Harris nomination could bring other challenges forward. Despite this, they believe that it is possible for the Biden and Harris policies to be tied together and that there are other Democrats who could have been bigger threats to former President Donald Trump’s ticket.

One Republican operative pointed out about Harris that she did not scare him while other Democrats like Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro would be scary possibilities. Both Kelly and Shapiro have already announced their endorsement of Harris as the next Republican nominee. The two have a record of performing well and even winning in swing states.

BlueLabs, a Democratic polling group, in a recent memo pointed out that both of those Democrats were performing better in swing states when matched up with Trump, than both Harris and President Biden.

Last week, Trump was officially named his party’s nominee during the Republican National Convention.

The Republican operative however argued that there is no chance of the Democratic Party throwing away a Black female Vice President to put in her place a white guy.

While Harris has not yet received the party’s nomination, Biden endorsed her on the spot for the Democratic ticket.
