(FixThisNation.com) – Nikki Haley, the Republican presidential candidate, argued that the only way she would attend the next debate was if either former President Donald Trump or President Biden also moved forward.

In a statement on Tuesday Haley argued that Trump needed to stop “hiding” considering he had not attended any of the five Republican primary debates that had already taken place. On Monday, Trump had managed to easily win the Iowa caucuses by a wide margin.

Haley pointed out that so far in her campaign there have been “five great debates” but that Trump had avoided attending any of them. However, as she argued Trump did not have anywhere else to hide, and that the next debate she would be attending would either include Trump or Biden.

Haley has argued that she is the “last, best hope” to stop the ‘Trump-Biden nightmare.’ The two potential debates would take place ahead of the first primary race in New Hampshire and would give the top candidates the platform to discuss some of the key issues for the country and the state. The first-in-the-nation primary is set to take place next Tuesday.

The first of the debate is scheduled to be hosted by ABC News on Thursday, while the second will be hosted by CNN on Sunday. Trump, Haley, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are likely all going to be invited to attend as they meet the requirements for the GOP debates, however, Trump is almost guaranteed to not attend the events.
DeSantis has already accepted the invitation and in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter slammed Haley for her decision to not debate, arguing that she was just scared of answering “tough questions.”
