(FixThisNation.com) – On Saturday, First Lady Jill Biden argued that former President Donald Trump is a danger to the LGBTQ+ community and even went as far as to refer to the former President as a “bully.”
Jill Biden appeared at the Allegheny Commons Park, where she argued that Trump was not only a danger to the community but also to the United States and American families which is why they could not allow him to win. She proceeded to argue that they needed to consider this moment as if the country’s fundamental rights were at stake and as if the country’s democracy was on the line, because as she argued that was actually the reality.
A day before she delivered these remarks, Biden had addressed graduates of the Erie County Community College and had reflected on how important it was to hold celebrations in June in order to recognize the progress that had been made by the LGBTQ+ community. She further pointed out that there were areas where additional work needed to be done.
On Saturday she noted that it should not require courage to walk down school halls or attend school as who you are, or to display love towards someone. Still, there were many places where courage was required for that to happen.
The appearance of the First Lady in Pennsylvania is part of the attempts to have the Democrats win more voters ahead of the election in November. Joe Biden had previously managed to win the state in 2020 with around 80,000 votes.
