(FixThisNation.com) – On Thursday, Republican Rep. Cory Mills (Florida) submitted impeachment articles to the House counsel alleging President Joe Biden was putting the United States’ national security at risk by withholding military aid from Israel.

In the impeachment article, a template written by Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler (New York) for former President Donald Trump’s impeachment in 2019, Mills referred to Biden as “Quid Pro Joe.”

Announcing his decision to pursue Biden’s impeachment on X, Mills said he would be using the “Dems’s own language,” however he’d be listing “Biden’s actual abuse of power.”

Mills’ announcement came hours after Republican Senator Tom (Arkansas) called on House Republicans to impeach Biden.

Cotton posted to X that House Republicans had no other choice but to impeach Biden “based on the Trump-Ukraine precedent” to withhold foreign aid to assist with reelection, stating that with Biden, “it’s true.”

The issue centers around Biden proclaiming on Wednesday night that he would withhold heavy munitions from Israel in its offensive against Hamas in the terrorist group’s last Gaza stronghold, Rafah.

As a result, the Biden administration has paused a shipment of 1,700 500-pound explosives and 1,800 1-ton bombs headed to Israel.

Mills’ impeachment article noted that Biden was using his powers as President to solicit “quid pro quo” with the foreign state by withholding military aid to “extract military policy changes.”

Mills claimed that by doing this, Biden “compromised the national security of the United States” in addition to that of Israel, a U.S. ally.

In his post on X, Cotton declared that Israel didn’t have “a problem” with the U.S., but rather, the nation had a “problem with Joe Biden… Chuck Schumer and the Democratic Party.”
