( – President Joe Biden, 81, has reportedly not been performing with mental acuity during private meetings. This has brought into question once again how his age, as the oldest person to ever be in the Oval Office, and his mental acuity might affect his second term in office if he wins the 2024 presidential election.

Since launching his presidential campaign Biden has faced a lot of criticisms and skepticism from GOP lawmakers and American voters who are concerned about whether he is capable of doing the job. Many GOP lawmakers and even some Democrats have admitted that during private meetings Biden’s age was clearly shown.

The Wall Street Journal in a recent report noted that they had spoken to 45 lawmakers and administration officials about how Biden was performing mentally during the meeting. The majority of Republicans interviewed had been critical of Biden’s mental performance, which even some Democrats had pointed out.

The interviewees had a meeting with the President during which they received a briefing. However, there were some Democrats and administration officials

According to reports in January during a meeting with congressional leaders to negotiate providing additional funding to Ukraine, Biden had been soft-spoken several times, to the point where some of the attendees had a hard time hearing him. This was verified by five people who were familiar with the meetings.

In February during a meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson, Johnson had allegedly been concerned by the President forgetting his own policy. This was also confirmed by six other people.
