(FixThisNation.com) – Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has alleged that 2024 presidential candidate Chris Christie had made a “racist comment” during the first GOP primary debate on Wednesday about entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

Greene claimed that when Christie had echoed the comment Ramaswamy had made about himself by calling him “a skinny guy with an odd last name,” he had been comparing him to former President Barack Obama. She added that she had been “disgusted” by the comment which she considered “pretty racist.”

During his opening remarks, Vivek Ramaswamy referred to himself as “this skinny guy with a funny last name.” This was similar to a comment that Obama had made years earlier during a speech.

Ramaswamy proceeded to take a jab against the other seven presidential candidates who attended the first primary debate by stating that he was the only one “on the stage who isn’t bought and paid” which is why he would state that “climate change agenda is a hoax.” He added that there were actually more people who had lost their lives because of the “bad climate change policies” than those who had died because of “climate change.”

It was after this statement that Christie had interrupted him to state that he “had enough” of Ramaswamy who sounded “like ChatGPT.” He proceeded to state that the last person to have made a statement about being a “skinny guy with an odd last name” was Obama and that in this case, they appear to be dealing with someone with a similar “type of amateur standing” on the debate stage.
