(FixThisNation.com) – The Mexican government has joined those who are threatening to file legal action over the U.S. border states transporting illegal immigrants and asylum seekers in completely different parts of the country, specifically to Democrat-run sanctuary cities.
Both Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had allocated state resources for the transportation of migrants to sanctuary cities including New York, Chicago, Denver, Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C. Most recently the Florida state government arranged two charter flights that carried migrants from New Mexico to Sacramento, California. This led to another tense incident between California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom and DeSantis.
Mexico has now also joined the debate about the transportation of migrants. Specifically in a statement released by Mexico’s Foreign Ministry, it was noted that Mexico had been informed about the transportation of a Mexican national through these flights. They proceeded to condemn the governments that had been engaging in the transportation of migrants from border states to other parts of the country. They further claimed that this completely violated not only human rights but also constitutional rights.
They proceeded to note that they would examine all legal and diplomatic measures that might be necessary in order to block this “concerning practice.” Mexico joined a list of others in calling for a lawsuit to be filed against those who organized the flights.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta also accused Florida of kidnapping the migrants that were transported to Sacramento and has stated that they were looking into all possible actions they can take against those responsible for the transportation.
