(FixThisNation.com) – MSNBC host Jen Psaki, who had previously served as the White House press secretary, questioned “Squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., about the things that people did not know about her or often were wrong regarding the Democrat.
Ocasio-Cortez in response mentioned that one of the things many of her colleagues or people she has not worked with before are often surprised by is the extent she does her “homework” on. However, her answer to this “softball” question was slammed by many including Fox News contributor Dr. Nicole Saphier who stated that the answer is “really pathetic.”
Saphier argued that the reply Ocasio-Cortez gave about doing her “homework” was like saying that at best she was “mediocre” and that she would only do “the minimum possible.” These statements were made during “The Big Weekend Show” where Saphier argued that essentially what the Representative had said was that prior to a congressional hearing, she was going to “read the pamphlet” that she was provided with by someone else.
She proceeded to state that Ocasio-Cortez had a “wobbly relationship with facts” and that when she left Congress she would work as a “great influencer.”
Co-host Charlie Hurt also slammed the Representative arguing that Ocasio-Cortez never really had to do her homework because she is only ever asked “softball” questions. He pointed out that before Ocasio-Cortez there had never been such a beloved Congressional member who has had no track record to show for their time in office.
The show proceeded to show a montage of Ocasio-Cortez’s appearance in Vogue, the Met Gala and answering a number of softball questions.
