(FixThisNation.com) – ) – On Tuesday night, “Squad” leader and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., stated the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) was an “extremist organization.” The statement came at a time when the war between Israel and Hamas, a Palestinian militant group, has been intensified.

Last month, Ocasio-Cortez accused Israel of “war crimes” and argued that the pro-Israel PAC was destabilizing the country’s democracy by being “bigoted” and “racist.”  She added that the PAC had previously endorsed Jan. 6th insurrectionists while also targeting Congress members of color.

In response to these statements, AIPAC blasted Ocasio-Cortez arguing that she was constantly using the “same tired lies.” They further said that all Squad members, including Ocasio-Cortez, constantly called the people who did not agree with their points “racist.” In their Wednesday statement, the PAC also argued that they were standing in support of all pro-Israel Republicans and Democrats regardless of their background, race, or gender.

They further pointed out that the only people they opposed were the ones who did not support the U.S.- Israel alliance.

On the website of the pro-Israel PAC, it is stated that they were working to unite Republicans and Democrats in order to create bipartisan support for the alliance and further advance their mission. They further note that they are proud champions of the U.S.-Israel relationship which they consider to be an “American value.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s original statement was a response to AIPAC’s criticism against “Squad” members and Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie over their votes against the House resolution that condemned Hamas and expressed support for Israel in the ongoing war.
