(FixThisNation.com) – On Friday former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated that former President Donald Trump had resembled a “scared puppy” during his trip to Washington, D.C. where he was scheduled to appear for his arraignment to four charges connected to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election which ultimately led to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Pelosi argued that while she had not been in the courtroom she had seen Trump as he exited his car and he looked like a “scared puppy.” She added that he appeared to be very concerned about the future and that he lacked the confidence that is usually associated with him.

She added that Trump was aware of the truth, which is that he had not won the 2020 presidential election and now he is going to be facing the consequences of his actions.

On Thursday afternoon Trump appeared before a federal courthouse in Washington, D.C. where he ended up pleading not guilty to four counts relating to his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack. In the 45-page indictment, the four counts against Trump are disclosed as conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of an attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.

Pelosi during her time as Speaker of the House had appointed a House Select Committee composed of nine members that looked into the Capitol attack and investigated the events surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
