(FixThisNation.com) – MSNBC host Jen Psaki in a recent interview with Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., criticized the GOP Rep. James Comer, who is serving as the House Oversight Committee chairman, claimed that he was connected to a foreign agent.
In the interview on Sunday, Psaki questioned Raskin about whether he was concerned about Comer potentially either knowingly or unknowingly having been connected to a foreign agent.
In response Raskin argued that he was concerned for the entire committee, arguing that its position had been compromised. As he pointed out, the tactics used by Comer had diminished the committee’s legitimacy despite its previously proud history.
Raskin, along with Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., sent Comer a letter in which they were requesting information about Gal Luft, a whistleblower who the Department of Justice indicted in July. Luft has alleged that he has information on the Biden family and their business dealings.
During the interview with Psaki, Raskin argued that House Republicans were desperately trying to find something against the Biden family. He added that House Republicans were essentially willing to give validity to anyone who would consider saying something negative about the Biden family.
In reference to Luft, he argued that there were many real issues that are concerning the American people, and yet the House Republicans were set on continuing their investigations in an attempt to find something relating to Hunter and Joe Biden. As he pointed out, the only witnesses they have so far found in this chase have been people who have been evading facing Justice in the U.S.
