(FixThisNation.com) – Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has used his presidential candidate rival Nikki Haley on his website referring to her as a “Lying, Namrata (sic).” This is referring to Haley’s given Indian name, which was first misspelled on the website.

On Monday, the former U.N. ambassador and former South Carolina governor, Haley stated that she was not going to engage in “childish name-calling” and that Ramaswamy should have known better than this.

Ramaswamy’s campaign website called “Truth” had a page focused on Haley in which his campaign attempted to set the record straight following Haley’s criticisms of his foreign policy position. One of the criticisms against Ramaswamy relates to his position on U.S.-Israeli relations. This is something that Haley had addressed during the presidential debate.

However, on his website, Ramaswamy claims that Haley is wrong and that she is showing desperation. On the page, he had also used a misspelled version of Haley’s given Indian name by writing “Namrata (sic) Randhawa.” Haley’s birth name is “Nimarata Randhawa” while Nikki is her legal middle name and the one she has chosen to be addressed by.

Haley during her Fox News Digital remarks pointed out that while Ramaswamy of all people should know better, she had given up on the idea of him potentially knowing better on any point. She added that during the presidential debate his “childish, demeaning side” had been apparent and that this is the side that is currently exhibited on his website.

A Ramaswamy campaign spokesperson stated in response that there was no way he was making fun of her name considering what his own name is.
