(FixThisNation.com) – Republican National Committee (RNC) former chairman Michael Steele called for former President Donald Trump to be imprisoned following his recent attack on court staff and judges who are looking into his multiple cases.
Trump is currently in the middle of a New York civil fraud trial while also facing a number of important legal cases on both a state and federal level. He is also the frontrunner of the 2024 Republican primary race and is likely to become his party’s nominee. In the New York case brought forward by Letitia James, the New York Attorney General it is alleged that Trump, his family, and organization had conspired to inflate their net worth, and then deflated it in order to benefit from lower taxation.
Outside of the New York civil case, Trump is facing an additional four indictments, including in two cases that were brought forward by special counsel Jack Smith of the Department of Justice.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s Ayman, host Ayman Mohyeldin talked about Trump’s recent attacks on the court and asked Steele to talk about these attacks and the dangers they brought forward following the lifting of the gag order.
Steele stated that it was very dangerous and that he was surprised that this had occurred. He added that following Trump’s attacks on the judge he needed to be stopped by being thrown in jail.
