(FixThisNation.com) – On Wednesday, the co-hosts of the daytime show “The View” pushed Charlamagne Tha God to endorse President Joe Biden during an interview.
Hostin started off the conversation by telling the radio host that he had previously endorsed Biden in 2020, but that now he was arguing that he would not be endorsing anyone in the upcoming election. She argued that in her opinion this was not the election to sit out, and questioned why he did not want to be endorsing Biden.
In response, the radio host pointed out that he was more focused on issues instead of individuals. He added that his current position did not mean he would not be voting in November’s election. Charlamagne proceeded to criticize and point out that he had previously seen the attempt to get others, including rapper Killer Mike, to endorse President Biden.
Charlamagne pointed out that this is something he had often seen done on the show, and questioned why the hosts were pushing for this if their guests are uncomfortable with making such statements.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg however opposed his stance and argued that the people needed to hear him say it. Hostin had also pushed him saying that his endorsement could hold a lot of weight.
Goldberg in her comments argued that his viewers needed to see him take a stance and even claimed that an endorsement for President Biden might help with that.
Charlamagne responded by saying that while he would be voting in November, both of the candidates were “trash” and that he would vote for his best interest and the person he believed would be best to preserve democracy.
