(FixThisNation.com) – Tom Cotton, R-Ark., a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee recently commented on how Democrats appear to be pushing for different treatments of investigations based on the ideology they found.
During an appearance on “Life, Liberty & Levin,” host Mark Levin referred to the different treatment that Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and Samuel Alito have received from the Democrats following the different allegations that have come against them. He added that those same people have very little to say about President Biden and the recent accusations of influence peddling and bribery that have emerged against him.
Cotton added that the Senate Democrats and particularly those in the Judiciary Committee were “like a phalanx of bodyguards” that protected the Biden administration. He added that they have not received a briefing on how Hunter Biden should be handled with “kid gloves” or how he should be given immunity while former President Donald Trump is treated completely differently.
Cotton argued that President Biden’s son is being treated preferentially by federal prosecutors while Trump is receiving the exact opposite treatment in Atlanta, Washington, and New York. He added that dozens of the indictments are connected to something that should be considered a political activity rather than be considered racketeering. This was a reference to Trump’s latest indictment in Fulton County, and the racketeering charges brought forward by District Attorney Fani Willis.
Cotton also claimed that the indictments were politically motivated and that their timing was chosen so that they would influence the 2024 presidential election, especially considering that all the indictments have come in the past few months following years of investigations.
