(FixThisNation.com) – Donald Trump has predicted that former GOP candidate for Arizona governor Kari Lake would be successful in overturning the November midterm election results. The former President spoke on the phone at Lake’s rally this past Sunday.

During the event, Trump supported Lake’s claims that the election had been part of a fraud conspiracy and that she had not in fact lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs in November 2022. While speaking to the crowd Trump had said that he believed Lake’s attempts would be “victorious” and that she would manage to overturn the election results through her court action. So far, however, Lake’s claims regarding voter disenfranchisement and the voting machine irregularities have been widely dismissed.

Trump added that it was shameful to have machines that were supposedly “broken” in the election. He added that this was why he thought Lake would ultimately be successful. He then went ahead and thanked everyone who was in attendance at Lake’s rally.

Apart from Trump and Lake, chair of the Arizona Republican party, Jeff DeWit and Wendy Rogers, far-right Arizona State Senator were also present and gave a speech during the rally.

Lake lost the gubernatorial race to Hobbs by more than 17,000 votes, still, Lake has refused to accept her defeat and has insisted that she would continue to fight until the election results were overturned and she was declared the winner of the election.

However, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson has already dismissed Lake’s lawsuit and claims noting that Lake had not provided substantial evidence that there was indeed any type of voter fraud or misconduct from election workers.

Lake has now taken her claim to Arizona’s Court of Appeals, trying to reverse the decision of the lower court.
