(FixThisNation.com) – Former President Donald Trump told a crowd of his supporters during a Las Vegas event on Sunday that he was having technical issues. In his remarks he lashed out at the operators of the teleprompters, pointing out that he does not have any teleprompters working.
He specifically stated that he is paying a lot of money to the teleprompter people, but that around 20 percent of the time they were not functioning. He added that they could not tighten the teleprompter up a bit and that he was attempting to look at it. Before proceeding with any further comments about the issue Trump cut himself off and told the crowd that they were all together in this and that it was “just a mess.”
However, while he stopped himself from making any further comments at that moment Trump frequently brought up teleprompter issues throughout his speech. At one point he even suggested that he would not make any payment to the teleprompter services as the work had not been satisfactory.
Trump also recounted a recent exchange with one of the crew members who had asked him if the teleprompters worked, and pointed out that they were not working at all.
During his speech, Trump then stated that the teleprompters had done a “great job” mockingly and argued that he did not need to pay the company that handles them. He pointed out that he did not want to end up with a story about how he does not pay, but that generally he does not pay contractors when they do bad work, and this was “sh–ty” work if you can’t read a single word off of the teleprompter.
