(FixThisNation.com) – Former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social on Friday to claim that following Republican presidential primary candidate Chris Christie’s decision to withdraw from the presidential race, that he was “desperately searching” for work in television.
In his post, he notes how for some strange reason Christie had decided to drop out of the race before the New Hampshire primary, despite all his focus, money, and efforts in the state. He added that Christie would most likely soon announce that he would be “Endorsing ‘Aida’ Hutchinson,” who managed to receive 1 percent for the first time in the latest poll, shortly after being at zero. Trump also pointed out that Christie was looking to get a job in television but no one was willing to hire him. He added that even ABC News was only willing to give him a job for half the money they had previously been paying him.
On Wednesday Christie announced during a town hall in Windham, N.H., that he would be dropping out of the presidential race. He further argued that it had been clear that there was no path he could take that would allow him to win the presidential nomination.
Christie throughout his involvement in the presidential has been a critic of the former President. In September during the Republican primary debates he had slammed Trump for opting to not appear during the presidential debates. At the time he had argued that the reason Trump was not showing up to the debates was unrelated to his lead in the presidential polls, but rather it was because he was too scared to appear on the debate stage and defend his record.
