(FixThisNation.com) – On Wednesday former President Trump blasted NBC’s “Meet the Press” Megan Kelly only days after their extensive sit-down interview. During his campaign event in Iowa Trump noted that for an hour he had to sit for the interview with Megyn Kelly and that she was becoming “nastier” throughout the interview.
The interview was aired last week, and in it, Kelly pushed Trump on many key issues, including his legal case over his alleged mishandling of classified documents that were recovered from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home last year. She further pointed out that Trump’s lawyers had previously signed off stating that every classified document had been turned over, only for federal agents to discover more documents in his estate.
In response, Trump stated that he did not know what the timing of everything was, but that he knew he had the right to keep those documents.
However, as Kelly responded after he received a subpoena he was required to hand over all the documents. Still, Trump stated that he was not even sure about that because he had the right to keep those documents.
This is not the first time that Kelly and Trump have quarreled. In 2015 during Kelly’s time as a Fox News host, she had clashed with Trump during the Republican debate that she was moderating. At the time Kelly had asked Trump about some of the remarks he had made about women, to which Trump stated that Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes.”
Kelly however has alleged that the feud between her and Trump is in the past and that during one of their informal meetings, the President was “magnanimous.”
