(FixThisNation.com) – On Sunday, Sen. Tim Scott told Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that the reason President Joe Biden did not want independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Included in a presidential debate between him and former President Donald Trump is that he believes that the debate moderators would aid Trump and interfere with the debate.

Scott argued that the rules that Biden was advocating to be put in place for the debate are “terrible” and that the only good news in this is that Trump is willing to have the debate at any time because he is certain he can expose Biden’s lies. Scott, who withdrew from the Republican presidential primary race and has since endorsed the former President, is believed to be on Trump’s shortlist of possible running mates for the upcoming election.

Scott continued by arguing that Trump knew that he could expose Biden’s lies relating to the border crisis, inflation, and crime, as well as all other issues that the country is currently facing. He added that the most important issue that he could potentially take Biden on is cutting taxes to stem inflation.

He further pointed out that currently they are dealing with the largest increase in taxes in U.S. history and yet Biden was looking to further increase taxation.

However, as he argued, former President Trump was looking to do the exact opposite as he was planning to decrease taxation, which ultimately would mean that there is more money available in the Average American household.

Scott also referred to the housing crisis noting that the mortgage rates for first-time home buyers were currently above 7 percent while during the first Trump administration, they had been at around 3 percent.
