(FixThisNation.com) – Daniel Sancho Bronchalo, a Youtube chef was arrested after he allegedly chopped up his boyfriend and then dropped his head in the ocean in front of a Thai resort island. The 29-year-old man is set to appear in court on Monday.
According to the police report, Sancho had cut up and dismembered his partner Dr. Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, 44, who was a Colombian plastic surgeon. The two had been on holiday on Koh Pha Ngan, an island in southern Thailand, that is known for its beautiful beaches and “full moon” parties. The two had reportedly had an argument over “sex and money” which resulted in the deadly incident.
Officers have claimed that there is evidence to suggest that the murder was premeditated. The Koh Pha Ngan police chief Panya Niratimanon stated that the suspect had admitted to the incident. He added that the two had known each other prior to their arrival in Thailand and that the man’s activities had indicated that he might end up killing his victim.
Sancho had reported that his lover, whom he had known for a year, had gone missing after a full moon party that they attended with friends. On Friday the man was detained after some locals had found the thighs and hips of the man at a local landfill. Allegedly, the Youtuber had chopped Arteaga’s body up in 14 pieces some of which he had discarded in the rubbish while others he had taken out to sea.
On Sunday, the police along with Sancho traveled to seven of the locations where he had allegedly ditched different body parts.
