(FixThisNation.com) – Comedian Bill Maher claims there is “no chance” Biden becomes the Democratic nominee.

After months of warning that President Joe Biden couldn’t win an election against former President Donald Trump, Maher said in an episode of “The Rubin Report,” which aired Tuesday, “There is still time” to replace Biden.

He suggested it didn’t matter who the candidate is. It could be anyone “who is not 100 years old, got a ‘D’ by their name, and is sort of a centrist.”

Despite Biden being adamant he’d remain in the race, Maher predicted there was “no chance” Biden would become the Democratic nominee, pointing to the mounting pressure on the President to step aside.

Maher also declared he’d  “put money on it” that Biden wouldn’t be the Democratic candidate.

Following Biden’s dismal debate performance on June 27, scrutiny has increased on his fitness for office as Democrats become more concerned he’d be unable to defeat Trump.

Yet, in the weeks since his debate performance, Biden has repeated his decision to stay in the race.

In an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt at the White House, Biden pointed to the “14 million people” who voted for him to be the Democratic Party’s nominee, declaring, “I listen to them.”

However, during Rubin’s podcast, Maher clarified that despite believing Biden was too old to run for President, he didn’t think he was senile.

Instead, Maher chalked it up to Biden being “terrible in public,” and “terrible.. under pressure,” but had not “lost his marbles.”

Maher added that while Biden shouldn’t be expected to run a marathon, he could still sit in a chair and “think clearly.”
