(FixThisNation.com) – A former senior official for Immigration and Customs Enforcement described Biden’s open border policies as “a choice.”
Speaking to attendees at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Wednesday night, Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, described President Joe Biden’s border policies as “national suicide.”
Homan relayed how he had “worked for six presidents,” beginning with President Ronald Reagan, and that while every President he worked for promised to “secure the border,” former President Donald Trump “actually did it.”
The former acting director of ICE declared Trump had created the most secure border in U.S. history.
He noted that “under President Trump,” the U.S. had reduced “illegal immigration by 90 percent,” noting that is “the lowest level in 45 years.”
Homan lauded the increase in deportations, which included historic levels of gang member and criminal deportations while Trump was in the Oval Office.
He then emphasized that during President Donald Trump’s four years in the Oval Office, only 13 people who were on the Terrorist Watch List were arrested, while under President Joe Biden, the figure rose to 381.
Homan declared Trump would “end the Biden-Harris open border madness,” adding there would be an end to the “drugs and the crime pouring into your neighborhoods.”
The former acting director for ICE stated Trump had proven to be a “warrior,” and would “make America safe again,” concluding that delegates “can take that to the bank.”
Homan was one of 31 speakers who took to the RNC stage on Wednesday evening.
