(FixThisNation.com) – For Former House Speaker, Republican Paul Ryan, the only things certain in life are “death, taxes, and weird stuff from Donald Trump.”

After declaring in May that he wouldn’t be supporting former President Donald Trump in the upcoming election, the Wisconsin Republican made the declaration about life’s “three certainties” on Tuesday during the broadcast of Fox News’ “Your World with Neil Cavuto.”

Trump didn’t take kindly to Ryan stating he wouldn’t be supporting Trump in November, requesting that the former House Speaker be removed from the board of Fox Corp. and calling him a “loser” and “RINO.”

However, Ryan brushed off those attacks during his Tuesday interview, reiterating a comment he made in the past about Trump, that he is “not a conservative.”

Ryan asserted that “death, taxes, and weird stuff from Donald Trump” were his life’s “three certainties,” and, therefore, Trump’s attacks were  “another day” in his life.”

The former lawmaker made his remarks when asked to respond to Trump’s attack on Truth Social last month. Trump labeled Ryan a Republican in Name Only, an insult he uses to describe those who aren’t loyal to him.

In response, Ryan stated that “fealty to Trump is what RINO is,” adding that the acronym “used to mean a liberal Republican,” and not a “conservative Republican.”

Ryan added that he is a “conservative Republican” while stating that Trump is “populist… not a conservative.”

The former lawmaker then concluded by sharing his wish that voters had “different choices,” before clarifying that he wouldn’t be supporting President Joe Biden in November and would write in a Republican for his vote.
