(FixThisNation.com) – Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) argued that President Joe Biden needed to campaign using the guilty verdict of former President Donald Trump in the New York hush money case. As he argued he believed that for the President there was an appropriate time and place for every argument. He continued by pointing out that following the conviction he could understand why the U.S. president was choosing to remain above the fray and show respect to the jury system, but that instead, he should be using the conviction in order to move forward.
Schiff pointed out that now Biden’s main competitor in the presidential race was a convicted felon, and that people should just imagine how differently the people would be acting if the situation was reversed. He argued people would be attacking Biden with vengeance. However, instead, they are choosing to make false claims about Biden.
He continued by arguing that not just the president, but all the Democrats needed to be pushing forward their case in front of the American people.
Last Thursday Trump was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection to a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Schiff pointed out that U.S. voters did not want to have in the Oval Office someone who was a “convicted felon” instead they wanted to have someone who would take action and get things done. He added that they wanted the country to be running properly.
