(FixThisNation.com) – On Thursday, in an episode of the “George Conway Explains it All (To Sarah Longwell)” podcast, George Conway who is a vocal critic and antagonist of former President Trump referred to him as a “global, planetary joke.”
As he argued in MAGA land they had no appreciation for how much of a joke Trump is. He added that they believe Trump is a “tough guy” who everyone finds scary.
Longwell, who similarly is a longtime critic of the presumptive nominee, was discussing with Conway the debate between former President Joe Biden and Trump, as well as Trump’s legal troubles.
During the podcast, Conway argued that the Biden campaign is going to start the week by trying to go after Trump in order to annoy him. They will make references to everything from his convictions, slurred speech, and other things that can bother Trump.
On Monday, HuffPost highlighted the comments. On Thursday night Trump and Biden are set to have a debate in Atlanta. The debate will be hosted by CNN.
Previously, Trump had stated that during his 2020 presidential debate against Biden, he had interrupted him “too much.”
The New York Times’s Maggie Haberman argued that Trump has in the past revealed that he had interrupted Biden a lot. She added that having rewatched the interview lately this is rather striking. Haberman pointed out that throughout the debate Biden barely managed to speak at all and that instead he just stood there smiling the entire time.
