(FixThisNation.com) – After weeks of speculation, Trump may finally be announcing his pick for Vice President.

On Thursday, former President Donald Trump revealed he had “a pretty good idea” of who his running mate would be for this election cycle.

Trump made the revelation while speaking to Fox News’ Aisha Hasnie at the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) headquarters in Washington, D.C., after his meeting with the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Hasnie had asked the former President if his running mate was present at the closed-door meetings.

“Probably,” he replied, adding that he didn’t want to go into further details before adding that he would most likely make the announcement “During the convention.”

The former President also revealed that Republican Virginia Governor Glenn Young might be featured on the shortlist.

He told Hasnie he “could consider,” Youngkin, adding that the Virginia Republican “would be on that list,” a reference to the shortlist.

Hasnie then went on to question Trump about his thoughts on President Joe Biden’s role as a father following Hunter Biden’s conviction.

Trump showed off his softer side, empathizing with families dealing with drug addiction, noting that it was a “very serious thing,” and adding he knew families who had suffered with the affliction.

Hunter Biden was convicted on three felony charges stemming from a gun purchase he made in 2018. At the time, while he was in the throes of an addiction, Biden lied on a gun purchase form about his addiction. He also was charged with being in unlawful possession of a gun for 11 days.
