(FixThisNation.com) – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was outraged by the GOP-led vote that led to Rep. Ilhan Omar being removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Ocasio-Cortez further noted that this was a move against “women of color.”

The removal of Omar further led to a dispute between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Ocasio-Cortez. The feud started after Greene called Ocasio-Cortez a “coward” claiming that she spends “almost no time” at committee hearings and yet she goes on national television and lies.

Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, quickly reminded Greene that they were actually sitting in the same committee and they had debated for the first time this week. Ocasio-Cortez then says that she would not blame Greene for forgetting this because Greene spends “almost no time there.”

Greene then attacked Ocasio-Cortez for her previous work as a waitress and bartender saying that she had never actually used her education before entering public office.

This is not the only time that the two have gone head to head. Before the Republican vote to have Omar removed from her assignment, Ocasio-Cortez pointed out that Marjorie Taylor Greene “was engaging in 9/11 conspiracy theories” and yet “House Speaker Kevin McCarthy appointed her to the Homeland Security Committee.”

On Thursday, Congress approved a resolution to remove Omar from the Foreign Relations Committee, stating that it was Omar’s “own words” that disqualified her from serving on the committee.
Omar has called out her removal from the committee stating that she was being targeted for being “Muslim,” “an immigrant,” and “from Africa.”
