(FixThisNation.com) – On Monday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) continued with her criticisms of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA.) arguing that the MAGA GOP was opposed to the Speaker who had betrayed the party.

During an appearance in the “War Room” with former White House aide and host Steve Bannon, Greene had argued that she had not seen supporters of MAGA be this upset since the 2020 electoral victory of President Joe Biden against former President Donald Trump.

She continued by claiming that the situation now was entirely different and that what she considered really worrying was that Johnson had completely sold the party off to the Democrats. Greene had previously threatened that she would use a procedural motion in order to force Johnson to vacate from his position as the Speaker. She has also pointed out that she has been angry with the Speaker for agreeing to move through the House legislation through the use of Democratic votes.

On Saturday the House passed a foreign aid bill that did not include any border provisions. The bill which included support for Ukraine passed through the House while also being opposed by Republicans.

Greene had argued that Johnson had become a “uni party” member faster than anyone she had seen in history and the switch had happened within months.

Johnson had also dismissed any concerns relating to the motion to vacate, arguing that he had backed aid for Ukraine because it had been the right thing to do. The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for over two years, and recently the country has had to face a shortage of arms.
