(FixThisNation.com) – On Monday, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., slammed an MSNBC host referring to them as a former President Donald Trump apologist for countering one of her talking points.
During an appearance on “Katy Tur Reports” Pelosi was praising President Joe Biden for his record so far in office, and specifically the number of jobs created. She then proceeded to slam Trump who she claimed had the “worst record” on jobs out of any U.S. president. However, host Katy Tur pointed out that there are two issues with this statement made by Pelosi, the first is that Biden’s “growth” had come from jobs that came back from the COVID pandemic and that this is where Trump had lost as well during his time in the White House.
When Pelosi argued that Trump had the worst record out of any U.S. president when it came to job loss and that this was something that they wanted people to know, Tur was quick to respond that this was during a “global pandemic.”
Pelosi was quick to respond again that he had the worst president. He continued by saying that they had had “other concerns” in the United States and even told Tur that if she wanted to be a Trump apologist then that could be her role but it would not be hers.
Tur responded by stating that she did not believe anyone could accuse her of that.
The GOP has often blasted MNBC for being a Democratic Party media for people like Biden and Pelosi.
