(FixThisNation.com) – Former President Donald Trump alleged that the judge overseeing his trial in Manhattan had manipulated the 2024 election after determining that the 45th president had breached a gag order related to the case.

Trump expressed his discontent on Truth Social, stating, “This Judge has deprived me of my Constitutional Right to FREE SPEECH. I am the sole Presidential Candidate in History to be GAGGED.”

Trump continued his admonishment of Judge Juan Merchan by asserting that the entire trial was fixed and accused the judge of interfering with the 2024 presidential election by restricting his freedom of speech.

Earlier that day, Judge Merchan found Trump guilty of violating a gag order prohibiting him from mentioning witnesses and family members of court officials publicly.

In his ruling, Judge Merchan identified nine separate instances in which Trump violated the gag order through social media posts. He ordered the former President to pay a $1,000 fine for each violation, totaling $9,000 for disregarding the gag order.

Merchan’s decision followed accusations from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office that Trump had violated the order 14 times since its imposition the previous month.

The judge explicitly warned Trump that if he persisted in willfully violating the gag order, he could face “incarceratory punishment” as deemed “necessary and appropriate.”

In response to the ruling, Trump promptly deleted the social media posts that had breached the order from his Truth Social account.

Trump has consistently criticized the gag order, denouncing the entire case as a “scam” orchestrated by the Biden administration. He argued that the gag order had deprived him of the opportunity to defend himself against the allegations in the case.
