(FixThisNation.com) – On Monday, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., argued that he believes former President Donald Trump was a lesser threat to democracy than President Joe Biden, as exhibited by his legal battles against the Biden administration concerning censorship on social media.

During an interview with Erin Burnett Kennedy argued that he could argue that Biden was worse, however, he did state that Trump was also a threat. As he stated, the reason he believes Biden is more of a threat is that Biden was the first presidential candidate in history to employ federal agencies and have them censor political speech.

Kennedy filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration following a request that the federal administration had made to social media platforms to have Kennedy’s accounts restricted in 2021. Kennedy had been using his accounts to spread misinformation about Hank Aaron, the baseball legend, having died because of complications relating to the pandemic vaccine. However, as many medical experts have pointed out these claims have been untrue.

Last month Kennedy won an injunction on the case, but it has been stayed as the Supreme Court needs to make a ruling in a couple of cases relating to the executive branch’s authority to push for censorship on social media. The pair of cases have been brought forward by Republican attorneys general.

Last month the Supreme Court heard arguments in the two cases which argue that the Biden administration had illegally been pushing for social media platforms to censor accounts because they were spreading pandemic misinformation.
