(FixThisNation.com) – On Monday, President Biden sent a letter through an attorney in which he declared that the House impeachment investigation was “over” and declined the invitation to testify before it.

The brief letter notes that thus far the impeachment investigation, which is led by House Oversight Chair James Comer, has failed to yield any results.

President Biden’s special counsel Richard Sauber wrote in a letter to Comer that the only thing their committee’s impeachment inquiry had succeeded in was gathering evidence that there had been no wrongdoings. However, he points out that instead of acknowledging this circumstance their letter includes the same false allegations litany that have repeatedly been presented and proven incorrect by every witness and document the committee has gotten access to.

He continued by noting that their insistence on these unsupported allegations regardless of the evidence gathered which proves the opposite shows that their committee is not looking at facts.

In March Comer had sent a letter to President Biden which included a number of dubious allegations as he attempted to draw a connection between the President and his different family members. It also exhibited how focused the line of inquiry was on Biden’s time serving as the vice president. Authorities recently also arrested a key witness and former FBI informant who has been indicted for lying during the investigation about Biden having accepted a bribe during that time.

Sauber also pointed out that there have been conversations about potentially making criminal referrals rather than pursuing impeachment as a result of the investigation.
