(FixThisNation.com) – On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to once again argue that the Biden administration had placed pressure on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) to file a case against Trump for having falsified business records in connection to a hush money payment.

The case against Trump in Manhattan alleges that Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen had falsified business records relating to a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in order to stop her from speaking about her alleged relationship with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Trump in his post pointed out that Bragg had appointed former Biden Department of Justice senior official Matthew Colangelo to act as an assistant district attorney. Colangelo had also been involved in the case brought forward against Trump by Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James in the civil fraud trial that resulted in Trump needing to pay $464.4 million in fines. Trump is appealing that ruling.

Trump has once again been calling for Judge Juan Merchan to recuse himself from this case because of his connection to the Democrats. As he argued Bragg had fought hard to bring forward this “no crime” case and that they were doing so to stop him from winning the 2024 presidential election.

He then revived the slogan “Stop the Steal” which he and his supporters had originally dubbed after the 2020 presidential election. Following that election, a number of “Stop the Steal” rallies had been held to back Trump’s claims that the 2020 presidential election had been stolen through widespread voter fraud.
