(FixThisNation.com) – On Wednesday, the NRA released a video that was exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital, in which they taunted President Biden for promising during his 2020 campaign that he would “defeat” the group.

The video features moments where gun rights groups have slammed Biden for calling for their guns to be taken away, while also arguing that Biden is in the minority of people that want to trample on the Second Amendment.

The NRA further claims in the video that nationwide there has been a push towards permitless carry laws, pointing out that in April, Florida became the 26th state to have an NRA-backed permitless carry law. As they point out this means that in the majority of states, it is allowed to carry a concealed handgun without requiring any permit from the government.

In a different clip in the video a young girl points out that while Biden has been “stocking” up his fridge with ice cream, a reference to an earlier speech made by Biden, there have been constitutional carry laws that have successfully passed in 27 states.

NRA Digital Director Billy McLaughlin in his comments to Fox News Digital proceeded to point out that during the time when Biden made the speech about defeating the NRA, there had been 16 states that had NRA-backed Constitutional carry laws. However, now 11 more states have joined, meaning that 11 states have joined with permitless carry laws since Biden first made his pledge.

The NRA members featured in the video further pointed out that under the Biden administration, they needed to ensure their own safety as it is not guaranteed.
