(FixThisNation.com) – A new Pew Research report that was released on Wednesday shows that around 60 percent of voters who are supporting President Joe Biden wanted to see two new candidates on the ballot and not Biden and former President Donald Trump.

According to the report, 62 percent of respondents stated that they would like to see both candidates swapped. In contrast, only 35 percent of Trump supporters had stated the same.

Only 4 percent of the Biden voters and 27 percent of Trump voters stated that they did not want to change either of the candidates, while around a third of respondents had argued that they would keep their respective party’s candidate and choose a replacement for the other party.

Trump and Biden have both managed to secure the necessary delegates and are considered their parties’ presumptive presidential nominees. However, the Pew Research survey found that voters were slightly frustrated by the 2024 presidential race being a Trump-Biden rematch.

In both parties, it appeared that younger voters are more likely than older voters to call for a replacement for both candidates, as 73 percent of Biden supporters and 38 percent of Trump supporters between the ages of 18-49 had called for replacements for both parties.

There is also a significant decline in the number of people who have really argued that the winner of this election really matters when compared to the 2020 presidential election cycle. In 2020, around 77 percent of Biden supporters and 80 percent of Trump supporters had argued that the race mattered a lot, while now for both of those groups, the figures have dropped to under 70 percent.
