(FixThisNation.com) – President Biden’s close officials have argued that the upcoming State of the Union address would give the President the chance to “neutralize” the concerns regarding his memory and age ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Axios reported on Monday that Biden’s allies were spending hours perfecting his State of the Union speech as well as physically preparing the President in an attempt to ensure that the prime-time address could lead to a presidential victory. A source close to Biden pointed out that they were all aware that the campaign needed to be jacked up. They further added that the only way for them to handle the response to the report by special counsel Robert Hur, which included an assessment of Biden’s memory, was for the President to be visible and present a strong voice and presence.

Biden has allegedly been looking into passing an executive order that would considerably reduce the surge of migrants entering the United States through the Mexico border. Sources have also suggested that the president might end up taking action a couple of weeks before the State of the Union address which would allow him to claim that he had taken action to better the situation at the border while the Republicans had attempted to mobilize a bipartisan border package.

Biden officials were hoping that the address was going to have the same appeal this year that it had last year when the President had claimed that the GOP was looking to cut Medicare and Social Security programs.
