(FixThisNation.com) – Democrats had tried to counter the assessment of special counsel Robert Hur regarding President Biden’s memory while also turning the tables on the GOP for these comments.

The Democrats have taken to sharing videos of former President Donald Trump in which he is forgetting certain details, accidentally mixing up individuals, or confusing his words. The hearing on Tuesday was opened by House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) sharing a video montage of statements that Trump had made in the past which seemed to show the former President confusing Biden and former President Barack Obama. In a different clip, Trump confused Republican challenger Nikki Haley with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and the Hungarian leader Viktor Orbán with the Turkish President.

Nadler had argued about Trump that he was not fit for office and that he was “incapable of avoiding criminal liability.” He further argued that Trump should reconsider making any accusations against other people regarding possible cognitive decline.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) had also turned to a number of clips from Trump where he appeared to be mangling his words, while Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.), had tried to rebut the claims about Biden’s memory by using clips where Trump appeared to be forgetting things during “a deposition.”

In one of the clips in question, Trump could not answer a question relating to the years that he had been married to Marla Maples. When asked about his current wife he had correctly said that he had gotten married in January 2005 but was not sure what the exact date was.
