(FixThisNation.com) – The Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal of Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden. Archer had first been convicted by a federal jury in 2018 on charges of having defrauded a Native American tribe by selling over $60 million of tribal bonds and fraudulent issuing.

The Supreme Court issued a brief order which did not include an explanation on why they declined to take on the appeal. Hunter Biden is not involved in the case that Archer and several others were convicted in. Still, Archer has become an important part in the House Republicans’ probe into Biden’s business dealings.

Last summer, Archer testified with the House Oversight and Accountability Committee behind closed doors. However, his testimony has been perceived differently by the two sides of the aisle.

Days after the testimony, the transcript was released in which Archer had testified that Hunter Biden would always take business calls with his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, present in the room. Archer has also claimed that Hunter would often place the phone on speakerphone while his father was there. However, Archer claimed that he did not know of any cases of President Biden having committed any wrongdoing.

Archer had previously appealed the case against him in 2021, however the justice had rejected hearing the appeal at the time. He has now pushed the justices again to revive his attempt to have a new trial in the case, however this has also been rejected.
