Trump Official Critically Wounded In Targeted Crime

(FixThisNation.com) – On Monday night, former Chief of Operating Officer of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Mike Gill ended up hospitalized following a shooting by a gunman who is suspected of being responsible for a number of carjackings in the Washington, D.C., area. 

Gill, who had served under former president Donald Trump, has been hospitalized and is in critical condition according to his family.

Gill is currently serving as the Capital Markets at the Housing Policy Council senior vice president and he had previously served on the D.C. Board of Elections as the Republican representative. 

A police spokesperson said during a phone call that the incident could be confirmed as noted in the press release issued by the department. 

At the time of the shooting, which was around 15 minutes before 6 p.m. Gill was picking up his wife from work when a suspect approached an occupied vehicle. The suspect proceeded to enter the vehicle and then shot the adult male driver. He then proceeded to exit the vehicle and attempt to flee from the scene. 

Around an hour later he had attempted to carjack another vehicle in D.C. 

The police noted that at around 7:15 p.m., the suspect had proceeded to approach a couple who was in their car and had called for them to hand over their keys. The suspect had then proceeded to shoot the man before fleeing the scene in the vehicle of the victim. The victim, identified as Alberto Vasquez Jr., 35, was taken to a local hospital where he died.
