(FixThisNation.com) – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has garnered the support of over 150 GOP donors who are backing her in her reelection campaign. This is the first time that McDaniel is facing serious opposition in her attempt to win control of the RNC.
In a letter that was released by The Hill, McDaniel’s donors were quick to praise her on her accomplishments which include great fundraising records, increased voter registration, and high turnouts. Furthermore, the donors noted the importance of McDaniel distancing the party from the Commission on Presidential Debates.
In the letter, they added that it was McDaniel’s work and commitment that has allowed the party to be in the best possible place as they head into the 2024 Presidential election cycle. This is why they are supporting McDaniel in her attempt to keep doing her work as chairwoman.
The letter was signed by many noteworthy GOP supporters including Steve Wynn, a casino mogul, former Ohio GOP Chairwoman Jane Timken, and former Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross among others. In the letter, they further praised McDaniel for the creation of an advisory committee following the 2022 midterm election which would seek to find what mistakes were made and to create a clear path forward into the 2024 election.
This is not the first letter to be released noting support for McDaniel. In a previous show of support, 4 former RNC finance chairs wrote to the 168 RNC members pushing for them to vote for McDaniel allowing her to serve another term.
